Acceptance evidence
Spindle capping line acceptance criteria
Agree what a good capping result means before the final machine test.
Acceptance criteria should cover the finished pack and the line response
A useful acceptance plan does not rely on catalogue output alone. It defines the tested bottle, closure, fill condition, cap-feed method, quality checks, stop causes, restart method and the evidence required for Lancing and the buyer to agree that the system is suitable.
Acceptance evidence matrix
| Area | Acceptance question | Evidence to record |
|---|---|---|
| Steady running | Can the agreed pack run at the test condition without repeated intervention? | Run length, stop causes and sample count. |
| Cap-feed recovery | Does the feed route recover from low or interrupted cap supply? | Fault response, restart sequence and rejected samples. |
| Bottle stability | Are bottles controlled through the capper without spin, tilt or damage? | Filled pack test, belt settings and visible checks. |
| Closure quality | Do caps meet the agreed visual, torque and integrity checks? | Cap height, torque method, leak or liner evidence where required. |
| Changeover | Can trained staff reproduce the settings for each format? | Format record, change parts and first-off checks. |
Keep the evidence pack useful for future support
The same acceptance record can support later troubleshooting, spare-parts planning and operator training. Store format settings, approved samples, photographs and any tested limitations with the machine file.
